11th Anniversary National Women's Month

This is an opportunity to celebrate and reflect on women's achievements throughout history, as well as the problems they have faced in the struggle and the important role they continue to play in society.  Today ladies we salute you for all that you do to ensure women have a voice and active role in this world.

The Women Business Owner statistics report that in the United States more than 11.6 million firms are owned by women. There are more than 383,000 female veteran-owned businesses in the United States,  the first in it's history.  As history has it, one can be safe to say, that when you think and or say entrepreneurs you ultimately think about 40-45 percent of the race are white more so than minority entrepreneurs. Black owned firms represent only 7% of all United States businesses, 10.6%  Hispanic owned, and 4.3% Asian business ownership.

Women are closing the gap that once prevented them business ownership things such as poor access to, lack of or knowledge of credit, lower levels of education as more women are pursuing and earning higher learning degrees becoming more financially fit and taking care of their families.  Woman have always been resilient in our history, an alone speaks volumes of the fact of women and their roles throughout time.

The statement, "walk a mile in my shoes" is the most used statement. As it is not until you are aware of and or experience oppression on all levels understand and or have empathy for another will you be able to help yourself  or others to be free from oppression of any kind. Many of the women's history we read about and talk about throughout history that infused the mindset and understanding to take a stand that comes with no guarantees, facing every fear imagined and although it was hard and challenging they made it through changing themselves, some through death and life documented in history.

Here's to National Women's history month and all the women who are standing up and making a difference in other women's lives through women empowerment, helping women recover from life truma's, changes and unforeseen life happenings,  guide our young women on the path of self love, personal worth, financial literacy and more to ensure the movement continue on through valuing the importance of being a women and what it means.

During the celebration let's not forget the unsung sheroes that do their historical magic movements behind the scenes daily within our communities, make a note to say, "Thank You", to the women for their service, as it's something seldom spoken to those who are on the front lines of the battles those who chose the path fought everyday to improving families and communities around them one individual at a time.

Whether  you're a history making woman or a unsung shero woman magic history in the making. You're a woman that has something she can be proud of, a woman that understands the value of investing in herself prepared to deal with whatever may come along the path of a small lose- possible bigger lose-  potential big gain no guarantee to freedom lifestyle.  You're ready to grow and stretch and give up all ideals, beliefs and or expectations around success and how to achieve it.  A woman of history in the making, knows that wages will make you a living and that's fine and okay, but profits has potential to make you a fortune and that's just super fine.

70/30 Rule.....do you know it?

"How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world." - Anne Frank
